THE OUTCAST — Starting lower than everyone else.
Gengis Khan, Mongol Empire — 1162–1227. Born Temüjin, he lost his father at around nine years old and his family was abandoned by its clan. He endured years of deprivation and a period of captivity. Proclaimed Gengis Khan in 1206, he promoted commanders on merit rather than birth; several of his finest generals came from defeated clans.
This is the situation carried by the Gengis Khan capsule from the CULTURE OF WAR collection: not a tribute, but a mirror. The piece bears the inscription “RIEN NE RÉSISTE À CELUI QUI NE S'ARRÊTE JAMAIS”, the capsule's motto.
Short-sleeve grappling rashguard with full brown sublimation print, patterned side panels and a portrait on the back. 240 g/m² technical fabric made from 92% polyester and 8% elastane, with four-way stretch, low-friction flat seams, silicone hem gripper and reinforced collar. The sublimated graphic is embedded in the fibres, so it will not peel, crack or lift in the wash. Close-fitting men’s cut for no-gi, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA. Check current IBJJF or CFJJB rules before competition use. Sizes S to 2XL.
